Kent has been involved in the auction business since 1994 and has been instrumental in founding and growing two previous auction sites helping motivated independent owners generate recession-resistant income and a steady income for their families. The inspirational spark for change.

Kent is the driving force behind Maple Bids, bringing a wealth of expertise as an executive Appraiser (GPPA, MPPA, MNAA, CAGA), Auctioneer (#17491), Texas real estate professional (#740345), and GIA and AGS trained jewelry specialist.

His journey into the auction world began in 2006, when he suffered a severe stroke that left him unable to speak. Determined to overcome his speech impediment, Kent attended auction school and practiced the "Auctioneer Chant" to eliminate his stroke-induced slur. Today, Kent leads Maple Bids with unwavering dedication, ensuring the highest level of service for our customers and their auction businesses. Hello Bryanna! Welcome to the Maple Bids team!

Bryanna will be our Administrator and handle day-to-day questions that may come up with bidder registration, website navigation, website, email and telephone lead alerts, and general customer service. This position will be responsible for growing the business by contacting existing Liquidators, Estate sale companies, Auction houses, and Home resellers ("LEAH") to explain our extensive benefits and invite them to try our platform. 70% remote with 30% onsite visits out of the office. Based in Dallas TX to start. This may include traveling to and coordinating events at auction conventions and events.

Responsible for interaction with website maintenance, social media posts, gatekeeping, and collaborations with social media drivers. Entirely remote and includes updates and scheduled maintenance on all related websites, maintenance of email forwarding and domain piloting, and assistance with creating the domain name IP auctions 2x/yr.
